Fall 2024 Quiet Waters

The primary goal of Quiet Waters is simply to come into God’s presence and be with Him! It is not for teaching, although there will be brief sessions of instruction on the process of being in His presence. It is not for worship, although there will be sessions of singing, worship, and praise. It is not primarily for prayer, although we may have times of both personal and reflective prayer as well as corporate and small group prayer. Our goal is simply to seek the Father and learn better how to just be with Him. Consider Quiet Waters as an investment in your soul.

Covenant

I covenant that I will seek the Lord to reveal to me any lack of obedience or incomplete obedience in something He has told me to do. I covenant to obey Him in these things before Quiet Waters. (John 14:21)

I covenant that I will ask the Lord to reveal to me anyone who I have wronged or I believe has something against me. To the extent that I am able, I will seek forgiveness and reconciliation. (Matthew 5:23-24)

I covenant to join our corporate fasts from solid food—from Thursday at 7:00pm until Friday evening. Water, tea, coffee, and juices are encouraged. Please use wisdom in taking care of yourself. (Acts 13:2-3)

I covenant to recruit one or two people who will daily pray for me and Quiet Waters—before and throughout the conference. (1 Thessalonians 5:25)
